so this weekend i introduce my eldest cat Jazz. he was a stray for his first year of life and now after 6 years he has not lost one bit of his survival instincts.
as he has aged his mane has become thicker and has changed colour as happens to lions in the wild as they age and become more dominant with time.
The beastly king observes his kingdom perched atop the gray cliff and knows his pride is safe for the time being.

Nothing fases him for he knows his dominance is greater than all others, he has no fear.

Not even a loose fur sitting on his nose is something to worry about

The king of beasts becomes alert as the impending darkness threatens the safety of his pride.

He opens his impressive jaws and the earth shakes with his warning.
all is safe again.
Here are some links to blogs i read that have both beautiful photos & kitties, a couple of requirements for me! well, to have some nice photos at least... i love beautiful photos.
Boo at Masak-Masak
Kiri at Clare Eats
Glinda at Anne's Food
hmm... not so many links with cat bloggers :) i do suspect Dagmar over at A Cat in the Kitchen
may post something as well since she has in the past.
i love kitty photos!

wow what a mane!
I love your "lion King" post and I am glad you decided to join in!
catesa, cute lion king post and he does look like one with his puffy mane.
Ooooh, another fluffcat! I love fluffcats. And he looks so fierce with the big growly face. (or he'd like you to think so)
Love the picture of him yawning. He looks like a pretty happy kitty. Got my post up here:
