Easy week

Here we are again, weigh day fun lol -2kg this week which puts me firmly back on the path towards obliterating the birthday gain, still 1.5kg to go but hey, I stand by my choices and while it's taking forever to get off again, I certainly had fun!! Now had I not panicked about money and started putting cheap carbs like potato/rice back in our diet I would have been done by now and that irks me a tad but I think by this time next week it'll be close to done.

Every day (after mainlining about 1 litre of water) I whip up a delicious kefir smoothie with 0.5L kefir, a generous pour of heavy cream (go through almost 1 litre per week), 3 big frozen strawberries, a spoonful of berry preserves, teaspoon of cinnamon and a decent squirt of vanilla extract. Deeeelicious.

The tasty BBLT salad I had twice this week, beef/bacon/lettuce/tomato. This one I drenched in mayo

This one I drenched in a mix of extra virgin olive oil & avocado oil, delicious both ways!!

Creamy boursin chicken & broccoli. Panfry chicken while steaming broccoli, add broccoli to pan, chicken broth, boursin, stir well and serve.

and sometimes I don't have veggies at all (only buy what's on sale) so some roast beef in onion'y broth jus... not pictured after, more slices of cold roast beef slathered in mayo.

Also not pictured, the extremely delicious enchilada casserole which I truly thought was photographed. Ahh well, it has been made before, it's in the blog somewhere lol

I'm not sure why losing weight came SO easily to me this week, I did my usual amount of walking, usual foods (without the cheap carb fillers that had me lose less last week)... the only thing I did differently was 3 full days of gaming and more studying. I think there is something to be said for the power of working our brains to solve puzzles and learn. I will do it again this week, continue studying and game a few days and have more conclusive results in the following weeks.

I do love an excuse to play more games :D Last night I finished Assassin's Creed 2 so will now start Brotherhood. I'll probably be finished in time for Revelations release in November *psyched*
