Man have things been crazy around these parts, job applications out the yinyang and tomorrow the first meeting *fingers crossed*.
Weight wise all is copacetic, last post it was -2kg then last friday -0.5kg and today another -0.1kg although official friday weigh saw no change. Meh, things are going and however slowly I'm about 0.9kg away from before the 30th birthday debacle.
Did I expect it to take almost 12 weeks to get those 7 kilos back off? Hellz no, but with all the stress and madness I'm surprised it has gone at all!
Last time I was experiencing this level of stress I slowly but surely packed on about 15kg and thanks to LCHF weight has actually come OFF in this period of extreme stress and as a bonus it has allowed me to continue the stable mood and avoid the depression it took so long to recover from -- Thanks not only to LCHF but also WAPF and all things buttery for helping me out! I couldn't be more grateful, that's for sure.
So I'll continue eating my ghee, beef, fish, mayo, raw milk kefir, bone broth and avoiding sugars/grains/soy/oils and processed foods forever!
What's weird is I was looking through some old journals the other day and came upon what was a typical day of eating for me in 2006 and almost fell over from shock, I was on that well known point counting plan... you know the one.
Breakfast: puffed rice, skim milk, banana, 2 tsp sugar. coffee = 4.5
Lunch: 2 whole wheat bread, slice goat cheese, turkey. peach = 3.5
Snack: activia prune yoghurt, 50g air popped popcorn with 1.5 tsp olive oil= 6.5
Dinner: whole wheat spaghetti aglio e olio & salad = 9
Snack: 2 cinnamon jawbreaker bubblegums. 30g dry ricekrispies (felt nibbly) = 3
No wonder my cravings and appetite were so out of control and to make matters worse, I was spending 1-2 hours per day on the elliptical.
Healthy? No one will ever convince me of it ever again.
Hope tomorrow goes well!
